  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • cup chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce

How to Prepare Meatball Plate Recipe Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F
  2. Mix beef, pork, Parmesan cheese, eggs, basil, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl until well combined
  3. Roll meat mixture into 1” balls and place about 1” apart on a baking sheet. Bake until cooked through, about 15 minutes. Remove meatballs from the oven and set aside to cool for a few minutes
  4. Place 1 slice of provolone cheese flat on a plate and put 3 meatballs on one side of it. Pour ⁄ of the marinara sauce over the meatballs. Fold the other side of the cheese over the meatballs
