The Not So Great Cheat Day

The Not So Great Cheat Day:

So many people go into a journey like mine knowing that they will cheat.  The psychological toll of cheating can really weigh on you and derail any momentum that you may have in changing your lifestyle.  I am here to tell you that I had a horrible experience with a cheat day and this is how it has actually propelled me and rejuvenated my weight loss journey.

Since starting my own marketing company, I have been working from home which has made not cheating so much easier. Having a new born and a two year old son I don’t get out much.  It is work, sleep, working some more, changing dirty diapers, taking my two year onto the potty (yes he has decided to potty train the same day my son was born) and then doing it all over again.  So when I passed by a fast food restaurant the other day it was damn near impossible to pass it and not eat anything.  You could smell the fries in the air and it was calling my name.  I am here to tell you I am a very weak individual and I let the temptation get the best of me.

However, the way I felt that day and the next has me rethinking any more cheat days moving forward.  It is crazy how my body has really adapted to this high fat, Ketogenic diet and is loving it.  My mind clarity is incredible, I have more energy and in find myself get more work done in a quicker amount of time.  My routine is simple:

  1. Get my son up in the morning
  2. Take my KETO//OS shake
  3. Turn music on
  4. Get to Work

Rejuvenating My Journey:

Today also marks the first day I will start working out on a consistent basis.  Be on the lookout for videos I will be posting so you can be on this journey with me.  The rowing machine is out for delivery as we speak and I am so excited that it is coming to the house.  There are no more excuses and We will see how working out, coupled with eating healthy and taking my Keto//OS, will really impact my weight loss journey.

Please feel free to write comments and ask me questions about my journey.  Your comments and support have been incredible and helps me stay on track.
