Let me start by discussing one of the most concerning health epidemics our society is currently facing, insulin resistance. Insulin is a hormone secreted by the pancreas when there is excess sugar in the blood stream. This is a vital process because sugar floating around your blood creates toxic compounds called glycation end products. Insulin resistance describes a condition where your insulin receptors build up a tolerance and it takes more and more insulin to get the job done. It’s a similar process for people who build up tolerances to things like alcohol or caffeine. If an insulin resistant person continues down this path they will likely experience anything from obesity and mental fog, to type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, infertility and even degenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s. So what do we do about it? More on that below.

Your body utilizes two basic fuel sources for energy. The primary source is the fast and quickly burning glucose, which you get from sugar, carbohydrates, and even protein. The secondary source of energy comes from ketones, which your body creates from fat. Ketones burn low and slow compared to glucose and your body uses them much more efficiently. In other words, you get better energy from eating less. In order to benefit from having ketones in your system, you need to either cut out carbs and sugar from your diet or supplement with exogenous ketones. While I recommend cycling in and out of a ketogenic diet to my patients suffering from insulin resistance, diabetes, mental fog, fatigue, digestive problems, and obesity, very few of them have the will power initially to eat a disciplined diet. That is why I now use a ketone supplement. This product allows my patients to become keto-adapted, meaning they become efficient fat burners and over time they naturally begin to eat better. This happens in part because ketones naturally suppress you hunger hormone, ghrelin. But another, more important contributing factor is that increased energy means increased will power and increased will power means better decisions. And if you struggle to lose weight, this is the most natural way to do it from a dietary standpoint.

Full disclosure, I support lifestyle modifications over products made in a lab. If you can be disciplined in a ketogenic diet, please do that first. However, I find that this product allows you to retrain yourself as far has how you view the food you choose to eat. Once you are retrained, it will become much easier to maintain a healthy way of eating.

After just five days of taking ketones my patients started noticing…

-Surge in energy

-Reduced hunger/cravings

-Improved mood

-Sharper mental clarity and focus

-Fat loss

-Muscle preservation

-Skin improvements

-Reduced stress
